Britain’s biggest business bastion “Unite” likely sues the second largest operating from Heathrow “BMI” in a pay disagreement. Talks are yet being held by both the parties aiming at reaching an agreement.
Unite is lodging a High Court claim against Bmi because the company owes its employees a long overdue pay increase. While the airline hit hard during economic downturn due to spike in costs.
This is the second pay-clash between Bmi and its staff in as many years. But the airline has also denied this. The pay agreement covers Bmi’s three divisions – mainline, regional and low-fare carrier Bmi baby.
